I was talking to my mom today on the phone and she said that September is almost here and with that, the approach of fall.  What was more important about this though, was the fact that Christmas was almost here!  LT was sitting on the bed next to me reading and we couldn’t help but laugh as she described decorating the entire house this year, now that she has it all to herself.  She talked about putting garland and lights above the cabinets in the kitchen, a tree in every room (except the bathroom, which is fine, she says), and even asked me if I had thought about what I wanted for Christmas.  At this point, LT is covering his face with the blanket trying to stifle his laughter which made me laugh even more.  It got me thinking about the coming months though and how much I love fall.  It’s that time of the year when the heat of summer has passed but the biting cold of winter has yet to come.  It’s the season of festivals, of pumpkins, of Thanksgiving (my favorite!), and changing leaves.  So that got me thinking about my favorite fall albums.  Yes, despite what you’ve been told, everything is about music:
